I am 27 years old and currently living in Milan, Italy. I’ studing web designer in Istituto Europeo di Design in Milan.
HOW I WORK
When I start working on a project, I try to get all the information and data from my client that are relevant to the project. Goals, demographics, preferred aesthetics, etc. I then start researching about the industry, competition, the trends, and many more factors. After I have all the data that I need, I start working on the wireframe, and prototype with pen and paper for rough sketches. After the prototyping phase is finished, and the wireframes are finalized, and approved, this is where I start doing the visual designs using Photoshop, Illustrator or any design and prototyping software. After the visual designs are approved, I then start coding the designs to html/css/js with responsiveness, and best practices in mind.
WHAT I USE
I use a number of tools that make design and development much easier. For rapid prototyping and wireframes, I use Sketch. For creating the actual visual designs of the application or website, I use Photoshop and Illustrator interchangeably and sometimes using XD. With development, I use different tools specific to the development of the application/website.
